1.Tax payment to IRS through its website
First is the most popular and most convenient way is to visit the IRS website to pay taxes is through the IRS website. The IRS accepts debit and credit card payments and electronic fund transfers, and you can also set up automatic payments to ensure you stay on top of your tax obligations.
2. Tax payment to IRS through its mobile app IRS2Go
The official mobile app -IRS2Go-is a very convenient tool for taxpayers. Download the IRS2Go mobile app, log in, and pay your tax through this app which has enabled DirectPay.You can even use a Debit or Credit card.
3. Tax payment to IRS through check or money order
IRS also provides ways to pay by snail mail. Just, buy a money order or cashier’s check at a post office, grocery store, retailer, or bank, and send the same by post. Include your tax identification number and the tax year you’re paying for. Remember that you should not send cash to IRS by the postal method.
4. IRS payment in person at Taxpayer Assistance Office
Visit the local IRS IRS Taxpayer Assistance Centers (TACs) along with a form of identification and your payment. Call ahead to ensure the office is open and find out what payment forms they accept.
You need to schedule an appointment, at least 30 to 60 days in advance, by calling on toll-free number 844-545-5640. which remains open from Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. local time.
5. Pay tax with cash upto $1,000
IRS has entered into agreements with certain stores like -Dollar General, Family Dollar, CVS Pharmacy, Walgreens, Pilot Travel Centers, 7-Eleven, Speedway, Kum & Go, Royal Farms, Go Mart, and Kwik TripYou – which lets people pay taxes in cash in person at various branches of these stores. You can find the location of the nearest branch of these stores by visiting this web address.
Please note that these stores can accept maximum tax payments of only up to $1,000, and charge between $1.5 to $2.5.Please visit this IRS page to learn about limitations on payment through these stores.
It is suggested, you need pay in cash through these partners, you should make the payments at least seven days before the due date to avoid penalties and interest for late payments.
6. Use a debit card & debit card
IRS has third-party payment processors who allow you to pay taxes through Debit Card, Credit, or . No doubt, several methods are allowed on those payment processor’s website, but the IRS payment is very convenient. But convenience comes with a cost.
7. Tax payment to IRS through Wallets

Another option that the third party payment processors provide is to pay your taxes by phone. Further note that you can not pay Employers’ federal tax deposits by debit or credit card method.
