The marketplace is available at address HealthCare.gov. When you apply for individual and family coverage through the Marketplace, you\u2019ll provide income and household information. Health Insurance Marketplaces use <strong>Form 1095-A to report <\/strong>information on enrollments in a qualified health plan in the individual market through the Marketplace.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2How_do_I_get_my_1095_a_form\"><\/span>2.How do I get my 1095 a form?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p> Your form will arrive by mail or if you can\u2019t find it, check your online Marketplace account. Follow the steps to get the Form 1095-A report directly from  Health Insurance Marketplaces  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Log in to your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthcare.gov\/login\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">HealthCare.gov account<\/a>.<\/li><li>Click the green &#8220;Continue&#8221; button.<\/li><li>Choose &#8220;Go to my applications &amp; coverage&#8221; at the top of the screen.<\/li><li>Under &#8220;Your existing applications,&#8221; select your&nbsp;<strong>2018<\/strong>&nbsp;or 2019 application<strong> as the case maybe<\/strong>. <\/li><li>Select \u201cTax forms\u201d from the menu on the left.<\/li><li>Download all 1095-As shown on the screen.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"3_Why_You_Need_Form_1095_A\"><\/span>3. Why You Need Form 1095 A?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The use of 1095A is for filing taxes by certain individuals for who this form is a great help in filing of your tax return. The reason is that your 1095-A provides you information about subscribed health plans any member of your household had. It also provides the following details,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Premiums paid<\/li><li>Premium tax credits used<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"background-color:#fce094\" class=\"has-background\"><strong>Therefore, the Form 1095-A helps you to fill out&nbsp;<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.irs.gov\/pub\/irs-pdf\/f8962.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Form 8962, Premium Tax Credit (PDF)<\/strong><\/a><strong> and reconcile the premium tax credit you used and the amount you qualify for.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you received advance payments of the&nbsp;premium tax credit&nbsp;(APTC) to help pay for health insurance coverage during the year,  form 1095 A is absolutely required to see if you got too much or too little of the premium tax credit.&nbsp;  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"4_Who_does_not_require_Form_1095_a_for_filing_taxes\"><\/span>4.
