I want to know the computation of allowable expense on car for a charitable organization using standard mileage rates.

It is easy to calculate using the standard mileage rates .
- Step 1: Count the mileage your car travelled for the charitable organization in the year , say 2019.
- Step: Follow the irs published standard mileage rates for charity
- Step 3: Simply multiply the amount in Step 1 with the Standard Mileage rate in step2.
For tax year 2019, the Standard Mileage rate for charity is 14 cent/mile. You can also use the standard mileage reimbursement calculator
